Lanre Kukoyi

Lanre Kukoyi is the founder/member of Kukoyi Law Firm, LLC, a general practice law firm, with special focus on transactional and immigration law. He obtained his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2013. As a law student, he served on the executive board of the school’s chapter of the Black Law Students Association, as well as Sub-regional Director for the PA/WV Sub-region of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Black Law Students Association. He was also selected as a Martin Luther King, Jr. Summer Intern by the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.

While in law school, Mr. Kukoyi volunteered at the Office of the Public Defender, Allegheny County and worked as a summer intern at a legal aid office and a community immigration law provider.

Mr. Kukoyi also obtained a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2001 and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Lagos in 1998. Prior to attending law school, he worked as master-level mental health clinician at a variety of community health agencies, working mainly with teenagers and young adults having cognitive and emotional difficulties. He continues to work with teenagers in a mentoring capacity through his local church.

Mr. Kukoyi is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny Bar Associations.
